Mark Little, executive director of the Frank Hawkins Kenan Institute for Private Enterprise, was named to the North Carolina Policy Collaboratory Advisory Board on Feb. 7.

Brad Ives, associate vice chancellor for Campus Enterprises at UNC-Chapel Hill, was named director of the North Carolina Policy Collaboratory, effective Feb. 7.

“A clearinghouse on Hurricane Matthew recovery and resiliency planning, a review of aquaculture programs and research and the beginning of a six-year study of surface-water nutrient strategies are among the main projects recently approved by a science advisory group for the new North Carolina Public Policy Collaboratory at UNC-Chapel Hill.”

Steve Wall (BA ’93, JD ’97) joined the Collaboratory as community outreach liaison in early October 2016, splitting his time evenly between the new role and his existing position as policy research associate at the UNC Institute for the Environment.

“The NC Policy Collaboratory, an environmental think tank at UNC Chapel Hill, is the state’s latest attempt to solve — or at least offer solutions to — the environmental, political and economic problems of improving water quality in Jordan Lake.”
