On September 28, the UNC-Chapel Hill Board of Trustees (BOT) heard a presentation from the leadership of the NC Policy Collaboratory. The BOT was briefed on the Collaboratory’s role in connecting environmental research at the state’s universities to policy-makers at the state and local levels. Current Collaboratory projects underway across the state include Hurricane Matthew recovery, oyster restoration, wildfire mitigation and several more.
