Collaboratory Grants Will Support GenX Research in North Carolina

The North Carolina Policy Collaboratory has awarded $430,000 in grants for three research projects to address emerging contaminants in North Carolina, including GenX, a potentially toxic industrial compound that has been detected in the Cape Fear River.


In the News: Hurricane Matthew Recovery

In 2017 the Collaboratory funded faculty, staff, and students at Carolina and NC State to work with six communities in eastern North Carolina to assist with Hurricane Matthew Recovery efforts. That work continues in 2018 with the research team identifying needs and providing solutions to these towns.
