About the Flood Resiliency Hub
The Flood Resiliency Hub is a joint project between the UNC-Chapel Hill Institute for the Environment and the NC Policy Collaboratory. The Hub is made possible through financial support from the Institute’s Board of Visitors and funding from the NC General Assembly.
With impending climate shifts there is an expected increase in severity and frequency of natural disasters and weather. In the past few decades there has been a noticeable and steady increase in flooding events particularly in coastal North Carolina communities.
