This project expanded ECSU’s existing drone fleet to include long-range high endurance delivery drones to transport personal protective equipment (PPE) and other essentials, including food and medicine.

The proposed initiative will support work with ongoing testing of the population in northeastern North Carolina to determine COVID infection status. The positive samples will be sent to UNC-Chapel Hill for sequencing.
