North Carolina Tackles Toxic Firefighting Foam with AFFF Takeback Program

The Collaboratory's AFFF Takeback Program, which began in mid-July, aims to help local fire departments by collecting, storing, and eventually destroying toxic PFAS-containing firefighting foam.

Strengthening Flood Resilience in North Carolina

The Collaboratory has funded six new flood resilience projects, including one, led by Antonia Sebastian, to reduce mortgage defaults and home abandonment after flooding events in the State.
